Yesterday we washed my car, I got stung by a bee, went swimming and prepared a picnic for the "Whittier Concerts at the Park Series." This time we enjoyed the music of the Wise Guys, a Big Band/Jazz Band with a terrific singer that gets pretty close to Frank Sinatra. We usually get together with our good friends, the Lendos, but they could not make it this time and since Horacio was out of town, it was just me and the kids. It was challenging keeping them entertained after we ate our meal but at the end of the day, they had fun.
I made BLTs, a pasta salad and a fruit salad.
I have to show you guys that I had a flower on my head because Viviana insisted that I "dress up" for the concert.
